Unity Commands A Blessing…

Unity Commands A Blessing…

I’m not one as a pastor to normally publicly way into national debates or political stances unless the the issue is one that goes directly against Gods word… so Gods word is filled with commands of unity not division! It’s filled  with love and not anger, it’s filled with relationship and not walking alone!

Psalm 133:1-3 KJV says…

“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, Even Aaron's beard: That went down to the skirts of his garments; As the dew of Hermon, And as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: For there the LORD commanded the blessing, Even life for evermore.”

I Corinthians 1:10 NKJV says…

“Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.”

Matthew 12:25 NKJV says…

“But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.”

Taking these 3 scriptures alone and there are countless others all stating the very same thing, how can anyone or any government or institution instigate an issue or edict to divide a community, village or nation based on race or the colour of one’s skin??

This national voice campaign has all the earmarks of division not unity! If like The Word of God says that “where there is UNITY God commands a blessing” then what will the opposite bring?

The scripture above in Matthew 25 says it all! “A house divided against itself will fall!”

So let’s stand together in love for one another, love based on nothing else other than we are all one under God and not based on race, colour or creed!

Remember… where there is UNITY God commands a blessing!
